Applications

INTELLO X® BLANCA is a special run of INTELLO X that is completely blank and solid white - which we’ve nicknamed "BLANCA". It is perfect for open joint interior finishes so you can have shade line ceilings without the product printing behind it. Of course, the INTELLO X BLANCA needs to be protected from direct UV and make sure the thicker fleece is facing towards the light (start of run has a number printed on this side, it is facing "in").

Gaps between boards to be less than 5/8" and boards to be at least 3x the width of the gap size. Do not use an open joint finish with Blanca behind it at skylights and windows.

It offers the highest level of protection for insulated assemblies against moisture induced damages in enclosures - even for challenging constructions such as vapor closed flat roofs or highly insulated walls. It can act as a temporary WRB/roof and is ideal for commercial construction (metal studs, high rises, prefab panels) and for roof renovations from the exterior. It can be applied on the interior or, when temporarily exposed, applied on the exterior of buildings.

Properties

  • Waterproof, resists water column of 8’2″ (2.5m)
  • UV/weather Resistance: 2 months of exposure
  • With recommended installation details can be used as dense pack insulation netting
  • Class A material per ASTM E84 test (0 FS, 105 SDI)
  • Hydrosave value of 1.6 perms, protects enclosure from construction humidity
