G-6000 Geothermal Ventilation Preconditioning Unit
Applications
The G-6000 is a ground-source heat exchanger designed for use with centralized heat / energy recovery ventilation (HRV/ERV) systems. This highly efficient unit from GHT pre-conditions outdoor air temperatures by warming or cooling it to near ground temperature, eliminating 99% of the need for electrical pre-heating in most North American climates.
In summer, it pre-cools and dehumidifies incoming air before it reaches the ventilation system - which can avoid or greatly reduce the need for air conditioning. With an extremely high coefficient of performance (COP), a lightweight and durable EPP casing, an easy installation process, the GHT is a hyper efficient and practical solution for improving ventilation efficiency.
Advantages
- Housing made of EPP - eliminates thermal bridge
- High heating and cooling efficiency (COP up to 200)
- Low air pressure drop
- LEFT and RIGHT setup possible
- Lightweight and easy to install
- Glycol/Brine pump with best energy efficiency
Properties
- Rated operating temperature -7.6°F to 140°F (-22°C to 60°C)
- Power consumption: 30 watts max
- Heating / Cooling power up to 5.44kW / 6.02kW
- Airflow up to: 353 CFM (600 m3/h)
- Supply voltage: 230 V, 50-60Hz
